Greg R. Langer is a partner of the Firm. Mr. Langer received his undergraduate education from Georgetown University, B.S. Business Administration (magna cum laude), majoring in accounting, in 1978; and his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center (cum laude) in 1981. Mr. Langer is a member of the American Bar Association (Real Property Probate & Trust Law Section), the State Bar of California (Real Property Section) and the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Real Property Section).

Mr. Langer is a real estate attorney specializing in the area of affordable housing. He has represented for profit and non-profit developers of multi-family housing using low income housing tax credits and, oftentimes, tax-exempt bond financing. Mr. Langer also engages in a broad range of other commercial real estate matters, including sales and acquisitions, leasing, development, as well as the organization and operation of limited partnerships and limited liability companies. In addition, Mr. Langer is actively involved in the developing area of new market tax credits.

Mr. Langer brings to his work over 10 years' experience as a senior business executive with financial institutions, where, among other things, he ran a real estate department with over $70 million of diverse real estate assets which required development, rehabilitation, management and disposition. He also helped create Countrywide Home Loans' nationwide affordable lending program known as House America. As the founding chairperson of Chrysalis, a nationally recognized non-profit corporation emphasizing self-reliance and employment programs for the homeless in Los Angeles, Mr. Langer has significant experience with non-profit organizations.
